Dr. Ogunsanya earned her M.D. from the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo College of Health Sciences at Olabisi Onabanjo University Medical School. She further honed her expertise during her pediatric residency at Harlem Hospital Center, affiliated with Columbia University in New York. In 2003, Dr. Ogunsanya founded the Maryland Children Health Center (MCHC), where she has since been providing exceptional care to her patients, treating each one with the same dedication and compassion as she would her own family.

In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Ogunsanya is a passionate educator. She serves as an Associate Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at George Washington University, where she teaches medical students, physician assistant students, and nurse practitioner students. Her commitment to education extends beyond the classroom, as she also mentors nurse practitioners from across the country. Her excellence in teaching has been recognized with the Distinguished Teaching Award and the Best Preceptor of the Year award from George Washington University.

Dr. Ogunsanya's dedication to her profession is further exemplified by her participation in medical missions to support the less fortunate, demonstrating her commitment to global health. She is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Association of Nigerian Doctors.

Outside of her professional achievements, Dr. Ogunsanya is a devoted wife and mother of four children. She enjoys reading and traveling in her leisure time, finding balance and joy in her personal and professional life.
